Gordie experiencing some man-love from a British expat in Tianjin, China.
China Update.
Overall it’s been nice having a week off for the 60th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. A Chinese friend sent me this link from the celebrations in Tiananmen Square, Beijing. Absolutely stunning photography. Dan Chung used a combination of photos and video to create a time-lapse master piece. I’ve watched it several times and think much better than any of the crappy videos I’ve put up so far. You will too. So, check it out and let me know what you think in the comments section below, pumpkins.
China’s 60th Anniversary in Tiananmen Square.
I’ve added an Amazon store to my blog.
I received a sugar-coated email from Amazon the other day saying that they noticed I haven’t had anyone buy anything through my site. What they meant was that I suck because I’m not bringing them customers. How about proving to Amazon that I don’t suck by visiting my Lifestyle Design and Personal Development Store and considering purchasing one of the great books on there?
Blogs I’ve enjoyed reading this week.

Karlil from PersonalDevelopmentPro.com teaches all you dullards and anal-retentives out there how to be interesting. It worked for me!

Awesome, awesome, awesome video Gordie. Happy 60th China – come and join the rest of the world and give the power back to your amazing people.
I agree, Mike.
Hi Gordie!
I agree with Mike – great video! Cool!
Also, good luck with your amazon store. Tell them to keep their dumb letters and give you a break! If you build it, they will come! Patience, Amazon, patience…
Thanks for your shout out, too. I’m finding lots of great blogs via your links, so thanks for that. Have a great weekend, superstar (a.k.a., Pumpkin).
Thanks for your support, Lori. Hopefully the store will generate some income. I’ll will keep everyone updated.
That was one of the most intriguing videos I’ve seen in a while. I recently rented a video from Netflix called “China: A Century of Revolution ” and let me tell you: China is definitely one of the most fascinating cultural centers in the world.
In fact, this is one of the best blogs I’ve ever read through. I really appreciate the level of quality you aspire to.
Thank you for your kind words, Tim.
I find after living in China for so long and not travelling enough that the aura China once had for me has worn off. However, when I first arrived I loved it for the first two years.
Awesome video…made me feel like they are getting ready for war though…nice list too…best part is those blogs are all new to me.
Thanks Nathan.
I also had the feeling with all of those nuclear weapons, that it had more of a North Korea feeling to it.
Hi Gordie, that was a fantastic video. I totally enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing it.
No worries, Stephen. Glad you liked it.
I have read Yaro’s post fully and I agree that this one is really deep. All of his posts are very detailed. I don’t remember anyone else giving out so much information in one single dose!
I am not a big fan of China(because of the censorship on internet), however, video is good!
Hi Mr. I,
One other person that gives so much information in long posts is Steve Pavlina. His posts are very, very long too. Thanks for stopping by.
Fantastic video production!
As always, appreciate your sharing.
No worries, Jimi.
Love the man love pic! Now you know what we ladies have to go through:)
Well, we didn’t go that far! Lol!
Gordie – thanks for the shout out! I enjoyed the other posts you mentioned as well. Keep up the good work over here.
My pleasure Alan. Cheers.
Hey Gordie! That was a pretty crazy video on China’s anniversary – very touching…
Also, in your picture where your hugging the guy, you’re face is red! Were your drinking? I see a couple of beers in the background, haha…
I had a few drinks that night, but not so many that I couldn’t have some more.
